How can I participant in a program at Community Connection?
Attend the monthly orientation which introduces each adult program, and should answer any of your questions. Monthly Orientation~ The 1st Wednesday of each month from 10:00 am-11:00 am at Community Connection. You will learn more about our services and setup an individual meeting with a Department of Rehabilitation Counselor.
How many days a week am I expected to attend?
Programs operate on various schedules and have different program requirements. More information will be provided at the monthly orientation or please contact the Program Coordinator.
What If I’m Not Quite Ready to Work?
You can work individually with a Career Services Employment Specialist to address any barriers you may have to finding and keeping employment.
Does Career Services Offer Any On-the-Job Support?
Your Employment Specialist will work side-by-side with you while training for your new job.
How Will Working Affect My Benefits?
Your Employment Specialist is available to answer any questions about how wages impact other benefits and can help with reporting wages. See also Benefits FAQ.
